Conceals details of influential officials on deputation

Jammu, Sept 2: The General Administration Department (GAD) which has recently issued orders for cancellation of deputation of officers/officials outside their parent Department/cadre has been hoodwinked by the Directorate of Agriculture by concealing the details of the officials who have been deputed in other department since long.
If sources are to be believed, seven officials of Agriculture department who have been deputed in other departments were not mentioned in the detail which was sent to the GAD for their repatriation to the parent department.
"Gurjeet Singh had been relieved from Directorate of Agriculture Jammu and was presently working as BDO Mendhar, Rajesh Padha had been relieved from SDAO Command Samba and was presently working as BDO Basohli, Raj Singh Sumbria had been relieved from SDAO Dayalachak and was joining Agriculture Department, Varinder Kumar had been relieved from SDAO Basohli and was presently working as BDO Kathua in-charge DPO Kathua, SK Katal had been relieved from SDAO Pranoo (Doda) and was presently working as in-charge BDO Mongri Udhampur, Yasir Hussain Wani had been relieved from SDAO Pranoo (Doda) and was presently working as BDO Doda and Tahir Qayoom Malik had been relieved from CAO Doda and was presently working as BDO in Rural Development Department", said sources.
However, the GAD vide order no.1254-GAD of 2018 Dated:09-08-2018 ordered the repatriation of fifteen officers/officials of the Agriculture Production Department presently on deputation/deployment with the other departments but detail of above said officials was concealed by the Agriculture department just to hoodwink the GAD. "It is hereby ordered that all the Administrative Secretaries shall ensure that no officer/official of their departments is transferred on deputation to other departments without the prior consent of the General Administration Department" the said order read.
