Rafale fighter jet deal biggest ever defense scam in Independent India: Congress

Jammu, Sept 14: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today held a noisy protest demonstration against the Modi Government for their involvement in biggest ever defense scam post independent India.
"Rafale defense deal is one of the biggest scam of India post Independence. BJP which gave false slogans in elections to get votes and after forming Government, the rightwing party has allegedly indulged in corruption," Manjit Singh said.
Former Minister was speaking during a protest demonstration organized at Vijaypur against the defense scam.
Singh further accused Prime Minister Narindra Modi of having complete information about the fighter jet raffle deal scam and Prime Minister Office is allegedly also involved.
The former minister said "By compromising the national interest, Modi Government made an attempt to benefit private firms though this deal with France."
He said that even after the Government has been fully exposed, there is no official probe has been ordered to unearth the scam. "Modi in his public rally used to assure that he curve corruption but the days have come when corruption has touched new height under BJP Government," said Manjit Singh.
He further said that there is no development in last four years of Modi Government rule in India whether it is bullet train, Smart City, make in India, Skill India, AIIMS and all these things remained slogans to laurel people for votes.
"The Country has become instable with increasing fuel prize and it seems, there is no control over the increasing prices of the petrol or diesel," he added. He said that the prices of essential commodities have also increased and poor people are being grinded under the Modi Raj.
Later, the Congress workers led by District President Samba, Manjit Singh handed over a memorandum to ADC Dr Arun Manhas against the Raffle Fighter Jet Scam. Those who present in the demonstration and spoke on the occiousian include former MLA Parkash Sharma,Subesh Bhagat,Vinod Mishra, Sanjeev Sharma Secty PCC, Babble Gupta, Trith Bhagat, Retd Col. Swaran Singh ,Pushpa Raj, Gurdeep Singh , Romesh Bhagat, Bansi Lal, Kumar Singh ,Madam Chowan, Jagdev Masha,Kasam Din, All Block President of Samba District,Youth Priesdent Sandeep Sharma, Vinod kumar,Ex. Sarpanch Mani Ram, Dr. B.S.Choudhary and others.
