FMHWs stage protest, highlight genuine demands

Jammu, Sept 17: A protest 'Dharna' of Jammu Kashmir Female Multipurpose Health Worker Welfare Association Jammu province entered the 22th days the and highlighted the genuine demands during protest.
Association had high hopes during Governor Rule that there is every possibility to resolve the genuine demand of FMPHW,s most of the FMPHW withdraw the personal loan from banks and they are not able to deposit their installment in time so that compound interest have to charged by the bank due to non drawl of their salary under head 2211 and some female workers are suffering from chronic diseases and not able to treat themselves without money and some of them are not pay dues to their wards in school. Particularly the demands of FMPHW to resolve the permanent solution of salary Head 2211 working under Family Welfare. The agitation will be not called off till the permanent solution of salary Head 2211.
They said that whereas the govt. of J&K had committed last year regarding the permanent solution of salary of head 2211 family welfare and other demands mentioned below. but nothing have been done .It is very regretful that every time Govt. of J&K and department of Health & Family Welfare adopted deceptive policy to harass FMPHW,s.
Today the Protest /Dharna held in the Complex of DHS Jammu Where Protested FMPHW,s raised the slogans in support of their genuine demands and appealed the Govt. of Jammu Kashmir State to resolve the issue without any delay, so that beneficiaries especially mothers and children may not suffer any more. If the beneficiaries will suffer the responsibility will be of the J&K Govt. and Department of Health & Family Welfare.
Prime Minister of India Sh Narinder Modi slogan that Beti Padayo Beti Bachayo is shame full for administration that they did not want to resolve the burning demands , being a female every year we are harassed by the Govt of Jammu Kashmir to disbursement of salary regularly.
The Prominent who take part in the protest included Neelam Kumari, Surya Akhter, Sapna Gupta General Secretary, , Urmil Devi, Mamta Devi, Sunita Devi,. Jagjeet Kour, Nirmal Kour, Gayatri Devi, Varinder Kour, Jagbir Kour, Manjeet kour, Pooja Devi ,Shashi bala, Kamlesh, Jeevan Jyoti, Anchal Devi, Kamla devi, Soma Devi, Pushpa Devi, Rani, R P Singh, Anoop Singh and others.
