| Governor’s rule proving to be Disaster for Public of Mendhar: PDP leader | | | Early Times Report
MENDHAR, Sept 23: Terming Governor Rule in Jammu and Kashmir as Disaster for peoples of Mendhar by Senior PDP leader and Advocate Nadeem Rafiq Khan.
He said that as Governor rule comes in a process, the body languages and way of treatments of bureaucracy towards public are totally to be changed. The Development Process of public area are halted in the mid way by the authorities on the name of funds.
He further added that the Government tall claims of transparency and development are seen on daily routine huge transfers of premature honest officers.
Every one busy lobbying high officials in a Civil Secretriat for getting proper and suitable adjustment by forgetting public issues on their tables. Public works department of Poonch becomes excuse centre as they don't have single penny to repairs the link roads under their Departments for maintenance and blacktopping.
In recent heavy monsoon season rainfalls, roads and diversion are washed away but not taken into maintainable condition due to non availability of funds as said by Aee Pwd Mendhar in number of times.
He said that he met Executive Engineer of PWD Poonch for repairing and maintenance of these link roads. Simply answer given by XEn Pwd is (Sorry with shortage of funds). As earlier commitments made by Governor for providing funds are still hanging in between on papers and they are making public fools with false commitments, said by Exn. pwd poonch in chief Engineer office Jammu yesterday.
He appealed to Governor Jammu and Kashmir Satya Pal Malik and Advisors to personally intervene in this department and provide funds for maintenance and black topping of links roads of Mendhar of Poonch District at an earliest for the public welfare. |
