| Live Orientation Programme for Academic Counsellors held | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 8: A live Orientation Programme was organized at Regional Centre Jammu for the empanelled Academic Counsellors of Certificate Programme in Laboratory Techniques (CPLT) programme.
Resource persons Regional Services Division and faculty from School of Sciences at IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi interacted with the Academic Counsellors of CPLT programme across the country in live teleconferencing sessions on Gyandarshan Channel from 3PM to 5PM today.
Dr. M Shanmugham, Director RSD and Prof. M S Nathawat, Prof. J A Farooqi, Prof. Lalita S Kumar, Prof. Neera Kapoor and Prof. S R Jha from School of Sciences were among the resource persons from Maidan Garhi, New Delhi HQs.
Dr. Anil Kumar Ganjoo, empanelled Academic Counsellor from Govt. MAM College Jammu and Rakesh Kumar Pandit, empanelled Academic Counsellor from Govt. Degree College Bhaderwah were among the participants at Regional Centre Jammu. Dr. Vikram Singh, Regional Director I/c stated that this is a highly skill-oriented programme designed to train learners to extend effective and efficient services to the Science teachers and students in laboratories.
Dr. Vikram Singh informed that efforts will be made to popularise this programme in Jammu province since this programme not only enhance the skills of students in the field of laboratory techniques but also help them in career upgradation as well. |
