Yash to be honoured with Tathagat International Srijan Samman 2018 in UP

JAMMU, Oct 11: Dogri and Hindi Littérateur, cultural activist, Linguist, Journalist and Social worker Yash Paul will be Honoured and Awarded with Tathagat International Srijan Samman 2018 by the Tathagat Kala - Sanskriti Sansthan (regd.) Sidharth Nagar (Uttar Pradesh) for his literary contributions in Dogri and Hindi Language.
This is announced by Dr. Bhaskar Sharma, President Tathagat Kala Sanskriti Sansthan (Regd.) Itava, Sidharthnagar, Uttar Pradesh in a statement today. The Award function will be organized on 11th of November , 2018 at Etava (U. P.).
Among the literatures of world wide four literatures from J&k Mr. Yashpaul Nirmal, Dr. Satish Vimal, Dr Drakshan Andrabi and Mr. Kewal Kumar Kewal will be Honoured with this prestigious Award in that function. Yashpaul Nirmal was Born in a village Ghari Bishna of Tehshil Akhnoor, District Jammu of J&K State, he got his early education in the Government Primary School, Ghari Bishna, latter he did his M. A. and M. Phil in Dogri from Jammu University. He qualified SLET and NET in Dogri. He also did Diplomas in Punjabi, Urdu, Journalism and Computer.
He started his carrier as a private school teacher in 1996. He worked as a correspondent with Dainik Jagran, Amar Ujala and Vidarv Chandika from 2001 to 2004. Latter he joined Northern Regional Language Centre, Patiala as an contractual faculty to teach Dogri and linguistics to the Trainees of One year Diploma course in Dogri. He taught there for three years. In the December 2009 Yashpaul Nirmal joined Jammu Kashmir Academy of Art, culture and languages as an Research Assistant in Dogri. In 2017 he was promoted as Assistant Editor in Dogri Language. Yashpaul started his writing in 1994.
