| 7 FIRs registered in special drive against overloading | | | Early Times Report
Banihal, Oct 11: Banihal police in the ongoing drive against overloading registered 7 FIRs in last two days against violators for endangering the lives of human beings.
Today in a drive against overloading in Banihal town against overloading police registered four FIRs against the violators and arrested four drivers. Police spokesman said that today FIR No. 171 against vehicle no. JK19-2394 under section 279/336 of RPC has been registered while driver identified as Yaseen Malik has been arrested while FIR no. 172 under section 279/336 of RPC has been registered against tempo traveller and driver Tariq Ahmed has been arrested, FIR no. 173 under section 279/336 of RPC has been registered against tempo traveller and driver Firdouse Ahmed has been arrested and FIR no.174/2018 under section 279/336 of RPC against tempo traveller has been registered and driver namely Mohd Nishat Bhat has been arrested. It is pertinent to mention that 7 FIRs against overloading have been registered at Banihal police station for overloading and endangering the lives of human beings in last two days. |
