Udhampur, Oct 11: Road to popular hill station Sanasar is in bad condition and the authorities concerned are paying no heed to it. It is pertinent to mention here that Sanasar is one of the famous tourist places in J&K which is known for its natural beauty. It is 20 kms away from Patnitop hill station and about 10 km another popular hill station Nathatop. The condition of approximately 9 km stretch of road to this tourist place is in very dilapidated condition and is accident prone.
Tourists visiting J&K from Punjab, Delhi, UP etc wish to visit Sanasar for enjoying the natural ecological system but they turn upset when they counter bad roads enroute.
It is pertinent to mention here that J&K state is known for its scenic spots where tourists from across the world throng.
Due to terrorism the tourism was badly affected but now authorities have taken many steps to enhance tourism but there are certain loop holes which create obstacles in tourism promotion. |
