Saahil Suhail10/12/2018 10:40:10 AM

Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 11: After screenshots, now a video showing South Kashmir's top separatist leader, Mirwaiz Qazi Yasir performing obscene act with a girl during an online video chat, has gone viral.
The screenshots, audio clips and videos are being widely circulated in Kashmir now and it is expected that the separatist leader will step down from all positions, he is holding, in coming days.
The video that has now gone viral shows the separatist leader, who is Mirwaiz of South Kashmir performing obscene acts and masturbating during a video chat with an unknown female.
As reported earlier, the Separatist Leader, who is also well known cleric and preacher and heads religious organisation-Ummat-e-Islamia, befriended a local girl during 2016 agitation and later developed extra marital affair with her.
During the agitation the separatist leader often used to visit the house of the girl, sources claimed
"Separatist leader's extra marital affair continued but during last few months he (Separatist Leader) started avoiding and ignoring the girl," they said.
Sources claimed that his attitude irritated and frustrated the girl following which she shared videos of the cleric with a local businessman.
"Mediators (businessman) kept asking leader to negotiate with the girl otherwise she will make the videos public" revealed sources.
The leader, in an audio clip, which is in possession of Early Times, admits to have committed the act. "I can't repeat something that I have repented," he tells the mediator who suggests him to meet the girl and 'pacify' her.
The girl, however, has not yet lodged any complaint aganist the seperatist leader with police neither has she approached any civil society or Hurriyat group.
The leader could not be contacted as he continues to remain under preventive detention.
However, Early Times couldn't authenticate the authenticity of videos and screenshots independently.
Family releases statement
In a statement issued to local news agency, Qazi Shubli, younger brother Qazi Yasir and Spokesperson of Umamt-e-Islami calimed that after 2016 agitation in Kashmir Valley, when everything failed, the Indian establishment started to discredit the pro-freedom leaders.
"A Jammu based newspaper has published a story based on propaganda, which they have done in past also, accusing Mirwaiz South Kashmir Qazi Ahmed Yasir for obscenity by quoting some unknown sources and some video clip."
"This is yet another attempt by pro-Indian people in Kashmir and the establishment to discredit the role of Mirwaiz Qazi Yasir and his family legacy in the freedom struggle and socio-religious work."
"We strongly condemn such acts by Indian stooges, who are openly using social media, to attack people's character by vicious campaigns. This is a larger conspiracy to divide the unity of Kashmiris, when no other tactic has worked," statement reads.
