| Epic Day celebrated in DPS Nagbani | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 17: Keeping the festive spirit alive, Epic day was celebrated in DPS Nagbani with full fun and fair. A special assembly was conducted in the school in which students spoke on the significance of the festival and how it is celebrated in the country.
Various activities including speeches, devotional songs, dance and a skit glorified the occasion. Each of them conveyed an important and socially relevant message. The aim of this celebration was to in inculcate in the students the appreciation for India's rich cultural heritage and also to reinforce in them pride and respect for the national diversity. The celebration was a part of their philosophy of learning by doing.
The Principal of the school RK Verma addressed the students by saying that Vijaydashmi is one of the most popular festivals in India and it has always taught us that in the battle between good and evil, the good always wins. He also appreciated the enthusiasm and efforts of both the students and staff. He hoped that today's message will inspire them to follow the path of truth. |
