Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 17: A meeting of Private Schools Association (PSA) was held at Muqaddas Degree College in Mendhar.
Large number of owners of private schools of districts Poonch participated in the meeting.
Members present in the meeting highlighted the number of issues pertaining to the Private schools functioning in the border areas of District Poonch. While speaking they said chaos, ill will and hatred is being generated among the masses & institutions due to the irrational & unrealistic orders issued by the Fee Fixation Committee again and again.
General Secretary of the JKPSA Ajay Gupta briefed the august gathering that order no. 493 FFC of 2018 dated 05/10/18 in continuation to the order No. 106FFC of 2017 is again based on the hypothetical presumptions as all these orders have no relevance because these orders have failed to provide any relief & balanced mechanism for the Private Educational Institutions by the FFC. He urged to all the entrepreneurs' of the self financed schools not to submit any file to the FFC until and unless government of J &K does not come out with clear cut policies and rules for the operation of Fee Fixation.
Rameshwar Mengi said that the meeting which was fixed by the Chairman FFC on October17, 2018 vide order no. FFC/Sgr.-18/ 1359-62 dated October15, 2018 was an eye wash as there were no stakeholders to complete the quorum.
He appealed Governor of the State to intervene in this sensitive issue to settle all the ambiguous Acts, orders, SRO's pertaining to the Private Educational Institutions with the proper representation of the representatives of the Registered Associations.
Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion include Munir Hussain Shah (Chairman JKPSA Poonch),Raza ShahzadTantray (President JKPSA Poonch), Prithvi Raj Khokhar (V. President Rajouri), Ajay Singh (Reasi),Mohd. Raqueeb Khan, Khursheed Ahmed, Multaza Ali Khan, Tejinderpal Singh,Ghansara Singh, Ritesh Chander etc.
