Udhampur, Oct 17: The Government Model Higher Secondary School Panchari in district Udhampur near here is lacking proper teaching staff and the consequences are directly visible on the poor results of poor students even government higher secondary school Panchari is also known as model higher secondary school Panchari but realty is that no facilities like proper education system , cleanliness as compared to model school on the ground level . Sources informed that there is no teaching faculty for science subjects like Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry for classes 11 and 12. On the condition of anonymity a student informed that their syllabus was uncovered as there was no subject teacher while the exams are just on-head.
For the last two years the school is having downward trend in its result and insiders directly link it with the inadequate teaching staff.
When contacted the Principal Ram Prakash confirmed that the school lacks proper teaching staff.
It is pertinent to mention here that there are thousands of highly educated but unemployed youth in the state who are looking for a job. Kasturi Lal-a village elder told this reporter that the school authorities should engage some well educated teacher on contractual basis so that education of the poor students may go smoothly. |
