AAP criticizes exploiters of Article 370
10/19/2018 9:44:58 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 18: Reacting sharply the statement of NC, General Secretary Ali Mohd Sagar regarding implementing of 73rd & 74th amendments of Indian Constitution to J&K and equating the same as an attempt to interfere with Art.370, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) members said that be it NC, Congress, PDP or even BJP all have exploited the people of J&K in the grab of Art.370 to suit their Party interests.
They reminded Sagar as to why NC government in the year 2002, implemented constitutional amendment banning increase or decrease of Lok Sabha or Assembly segments up to 2026, during NDA rule within couple of days, why it was not treated as interference with Art.370 at that time? Holding BJP equally responsible for befooling masses in the name of Article 370 the press release questioned BJP as to why they compromised with their old age principled stand of abrogating Art.370 when they joined hands with pro-separatist party PDP, when they openly said ( Mehbooba Mufti) that any kindling with Art.370 will treat as traitor.
They appealed Governor to create history by constituting the first ever Block Development Councils (Block Samities) & District Planning & Development Boards ( Zilla Parishads) in the state like other parts of the country & let it be a slap on the face of so called public representatives.
Prominent among those who participated the meeting includes Deep Singh, Ram Singh Chauhan , Kuldeep Kumar Rao, S.Parvinder Singh, Sandeep Singh Shan, C.L.Sharma, Mehar Singh & Amit Langer.
