Director FCS&CA visits Move Employees Quarters; ensures uninterrupted LPG/Ration Supplies

Jammu, Nov 10: Amit Sharma, Director Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Jammu today visited Move Employees Accommodations located at different places in Jammu City alongwith his team comprising Joint Director Administration Pawan Kumar Sharma, Deputy Director Food & Rationing Kulraj Singh, Deputy Director Supplies Joginder Singh Jasrotia, Mohd Bashir and others.
Director FCS&CA Amit Sharma took a lead to ensure that uninterrupted and sufficient ration supplies are available to Employees who have reached Jammu this week for attending to their duties in winter capital city for the next six months. As a goodwill gesture, a special drive has been organised by FCS&CA department in which departmental vehicles are moving and providing doorstep ration for the first month within residential accommodations itself so that move employees face minimum inconvenience in this behalf.
The progress of issuance of Temporary Ration Cards to Darbar Move Employees was also monitored by the team and it was informed that the same is going-on and in this behalf, instructions were passed by Director FCS&CA Amit Sharma to finish this task at the earliest on the basis of I-Cards and taking Affidavit from Move Employees as per a recent highest level decision taken in this behalf.
The move employees who met Director FCS&CA expressed gratitude to him for taking these proactive measures and leading this drive to ensure provision of ration supplies to all the Move Employees all through next six months of winter capital located at Jammu. Finally before concluding the visit, Director FCS&CA directed concerned Food Inspectors to ensure that all FPS and LPG Agencies located in and around Residential Accommodations of Move Employees should have sufficient and adequate ration supplies and LPG Cylinders for Move Employees.
