Jammu, Nov 11: Panthers Trade Union held a massive protest demonstration at Exhibition ground in Jammu today for the long pending demands and problems being faced by the SPOs, Cook, Sweepers, Chokidars, PHE, PWD & CPWs.
The protest was held by Sewa Singh Bali, State Gen. Secretary PTU and activists.
Singh Bali said in this regard and highlighted the matter & submission of memorandum to the Home Minister (GoI) for immediate redressal of regularisation policy in favour of SPOs & other employees of the Govt.
Sewa Singh Bali said that it is unfortunate that Govt. did not release the salary to said employees on the Diwali festival. He warned the Govt. that this step motherly treatment towards SPOs, Cooks, Sweepers will not be tolerated anymore and if genuine demands of the said employees are not accepted people will force to start the agitation against the Government. Sewa Singh Bali appealed to the voters of Ramban/Banihal to cast their votes in favour of Honest /dedicated /hard worker candidates of the Sarpanch/Panch for the all round development of the Panchayats & Wards.
Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion included Sheer Mohd., Om Singh, Shaaheen Lone, Mohd. Rafiq, Sanjay Singh, Fayaz Ahmed, Lal Chand, Bashir Ahmed besides others. |
