Jammu, Nov 19: Thumping inauguration of Inter Division State Level Competitions for All Age Group Boys and Girls in the sports disciplines of Hockey, Throwball and Softball today here at Hakku Stadium, Indoor Complex M.A stadium and GGM Science College, Jammu.
About 500 participants of both the Division of the State are going to participate in the sports discipline of Hockey (AAG Boys and Girls), Throwball (AAG Boys and Girls) and Softball (AAG Boys and Girls) at different venues in Jammu. The competitions were organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports District Jammu. The competitions were inaugurated by Dr. Saleem Ur Rehman, worthy Director General Youth Services and Sports, J&K Jammu who were the Chief Guest and overall supervision by Sh. Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services and Sports, Jammu while Smt. Chanchal Kour, DYSSO Jammu is the Organizing Secretary of said competitions. ZPEO's and other officials of the department were also present on the inaugural ceremony. On the opening ceremony Director General, Youth Services and Sports interacted with participants at Hakku Stadium and advised them "Play the game, Play it well" with the sports spirit and wished them "All the Best" in their competitions. The welcome address was presented by Chanchal Kour, DYSSO Jammu in the beginning. |
