| Khelo India Competitions Conclude | | |  Early Times Report
Hiranagar, Nov 19: Organised by the District Administration Kathua the tournament under Central Sponsored Scheme "Sports for Peace and Development a Vertical to Khelo India" for Block Hiranagar concluded here at Sports Stadium Hiranagar with the matches of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Volleyball for under 17 years boys and girls. The tournament was organised under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Kathua Rohit Khajuria, Organising Secretary District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kathua Sunil Kumar, Assistant Organising Secretary Zonal Physical Education Officer Hiranagar Yog Raj Sharma. A total of 1156 players of Block Hiranagar participated in the six day's tournament.
Sub Division Magistrate Hiranagar Suresh Kumar visited the venue and interacted with the players. In under 17 years boys Kho- Kho competitions, first semi final was played between Government High School Parngoli and Government Higher Secondary School Chakra in which Parangoli outplayed Chakra by one point. In second semi final, Government Higher Secondary School Mangloor outplayed Government Higher Secondary School Hiranagar by one point. |
