SAMBA, Nov 20: Bari Brahmana police today claimed to have arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest for last 15 years.
Police spokesman said that today a Police Party of Bari Brahmana police station headed by Inspector Ravinder Singh Rakwal, SHO Bari Brahmana under the direct supervision of DySP Sunil Kesar, SDPO Bari Brahmana, effected the arrest of absconder namely Daljeet Singh of Bhour Camp Satwari, Jammu from Chatta Satwari, Jammu.
Spokesman further said that he was wanted in a case under FIR No 144/2003 under sections 279, 337/338 and 304-A RPC of Bari Brahmana police station.
The said absconder who was evading his arrest for the last 15 years after commission of crime, produced in the court of law. Thus arrest warrant issued against him under 512 CrPC got executed and the accused sent to Sub- Jail Hiranagar.
It may be recalled that District Police Samba under the overall supervision of Dr Koshal Sharma, SSP Samba has intensified the drive for apprehending the absconders wanted in different case FIRs lodged in different police stations of District Samba. |
