JAMMU, Nov 20: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) J&K was held here today at Jagti Nagrota under the Chairmanship of Shadi lal Pandita, President and discussed several issues and problems confronted to the Kashmiri Pandit migrant community as well as discussion were held to ensurl construction of the Shiv Parvati Mandir near lane 14-15 work of which has been taken up for construction. Addressing the participants Shadi Lal Pandita expressed his grave concern over the lack of finances which has caused hurdles in smooth completion of the construction works in this Shiv Parvati Mandir. Pandita has said that a Big Dharamshalla, a community Hall and a building for housing an institution for ensuring professional trainings in different streams with providing of medical facilities as well as religious and Dharmik Preaching's is required to be constructed in the Mandir complex for ensuring facilities to perform religious and social functions smoothly but due to lack of funds the work has come to a standstill. He appealed the general masses, in general and Kashmiri Pandit Migrant community in particular for making donations. Extending financial help to the management committee as well as a n appeal has been made to the Government for releasing requisite funds for construction of the requisite structures in this Mandir complex. He also further demanded that SRTC buses be allowed to ply from Jammu to Jagti and vice versa as well as according permission to at least five private buses for plying from Jammu to Jagti and vice versa to mitigate the problems of the masses of this town ship who are facing acute shortage of transport facilities.
