Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 20: Following his daily routine of visiting various Wards, Former Minister and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) visited Suraj Nagar, Ward 30 and extensively toured the area along with local residents, political activists and officials from various departments.
During his visit, he interacted with the masses and asked them about their grievances. A large number of people accompanied him when he was touring the area. On the demands of the inhabitants of the area, it was brought into the knowledge of the MLA that Lane 6 of Ward 30 needed immediate attention and following the grievance, Sharma immediately sanctioned an amount of Rupees 7.72 lakhs through his CDF (Constituency Development Fund) scheme for which locals expressed their gratitude towards MLA. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that two lanes will be covered under the amount sanctioned and estimates for the same were prepared earlier by the department and taking no time, the funds were allotted to the Ward so that the works for the construction of new lanes could be taken up as soon as possible.
He said wherever the funds are urgently required for taking up developmental works, he is sanctioning the funds and he also stated that no area in Jammu West Assembly segment is left behind in terms of development and in the last couple of years, Jammu West has progressed a lot towards development and is bloomed in these years which is a major sign of development in all 26 Wards of Jammu West. He also appealed to the residents of Jammu West to become his eyes and ears and stated that wherever the residents feel that a particular area needs immediate attention, they can bring it his notice as well so that a prompt action could be taken and residents of not only Jammu West but the whole Jammu and Kashmir could feel that all representatives of BJP work hard like their Prime Minister Narendra Modi so that best can be delivered to the masses at their door steps. He also stressed upon Swach Bharat Mission and appealed everyone to come forward and promote the noble cause by keeping their surroundings clean and green.
