| Khelo India: 2-day Sports event begins at Chenani | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Dec 5: Under the initiative of 'Khelo India' Sports for Peace and Development today the District Administration Udhampur organized a two-day block level sports competitions and aptitude test (SPAT) of different games in the premises of Government Higher Secondary School, Chenani of District Udhampur.
More than 150 students /school drop-outs boys category drawn from different educational institutions participated in the competition.
While addressing the gathering,the Manager Sports Council, Udhampur Shakti Chopra briefed about the competitions of different activities done by the district administration under the schemes.
He said that a series of sports events have been organized in different blocks of the district besides this further training and coaching camps would be organized by the sports Council for selected players who participated in different competitions under Khelo India.
Among others, Zonal Physical Education Officer, Chenani Anil Verma PEM, Sanjay Sharma besides Technical coaches from Sports Council J&K besides large number of prominent citizens staff members and students of different schools also present on the occasion. |
