Jammu, Dec 5: Regarding the long pending issue of garbage dumping site adjacent to the Govt Hr Sec School Muthi, a delegation of the school unit of ABVP led by President of the ABVP GHSS Muthi Kulbir Singh raised the matter with councillor of the Ward Nov 67 Suraj Padha and asked him to shift the site far from school within days, He assured the delegation that the issue will be resolved as soon as possible. ABVP Activist Akash Sharma said that due to the garbage dumping site adjacent to the school students are suffering since very long, the atmosphere is so smelly and negative that students now avoid attending the school, many times Principal of the school himself raised the issue with related authorities but nothing happened. It's very unfortunate that despite repeated requests the authorities didn't pay attention to the matter , the attitude of authorities towards cleanliness is disappointed us, how we will accomplish mission "Swatch Bharat".? Reiterating the demand he said ABVP wants the garbage dumping site shifted anywhere far from the school. |
