| Corporator inspects sanitation problems of Ward No. 50 | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 5: Corporator of Ward No. 50 Neena Gupta along with Health Officer JMC Dr. Saleem Khan & State Vice President BJYM Adv. Ishant Gupta inspected sanitation & drainage issues in Sector 6, 5, 3, & 4 Channi Himmat ward no. 50.
While speaking on the occasion Neena said that there were complaints from the local residents that the sanitation is very poor following which she asked the JMC Officials to arrange an inspection of these so that the sanitation scenario could be reviewed and necessary instructions are given on the spot.
Neena said that poor sanitation affects the health of the people and instructed the JMC officials to ensure that no compromise is made with the health of the people. She also urged upon the people to dump garbage in the dustbins being installed by the JMC so keep the surroundings neat and clean.
Dr. Saleem Khan urged people to remove construction material which they dump on roads and lane immediately as it creates hurdles for the JMC to carry out proper sanitation in the area. He on the spot direct the sanitary staff including inspector and supervisor to ensure regular lifting of garbage in order to provide healthy atmosphere to the residents.
He also heard the problems being faced by their staff due to shortage of lifting autos, wooden trolleys & other tools and said he will soon provide the material whatever possible. |
