That is precisely the reason for the American President to impose severe cut in military aid to Pakistan forcing Islamabad to bank on the military aid from China. Despite the fact that Pakistan has allowed China to set up its military bases in Pakistan as a measure to measure muscles with the United States of America and Russia but Trump was really perturbed over the way Pakistan continued to provide safe haven to terrorists.
What seems to enrage Donald Trump is the way Pakistan has been responsible for derailing peace in Afghanistan and in India. And for all these years the US policy dithered about imposition of severe cut in military aid because previous US regimes feared that it may prove counter productive as Pakistan may fall in the lap of China accepting any suggestion or demand from Beijing. |
