| Mega blood donation camp held at GDC Udhampur | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 7: HDFC Bank Udhampur branch in collaboration with Red Ribbon Club, GDC Udhampur organized a Mega Blood Donation Camp in the College premises in which number of NCC Cadets and NSS Volunteers and faculty donated blood for saving the human life in exigencies. Blood collection began with the offer from College Principal Prof (Dr). Nutan Kumar Resutra for donation of blood followed by Prof. Hans Raj Sharma, Convener, 'College Red Ribbon Club', various faculty members and number of volunteers.
Team of doctors and paramedical staff from District Hospital remained technically involved in the camp. It is pertinent to mention here that HDFC Bank has been organizing National Blood Donation Drive of on December 7 for the last 12 years under its umbrella brand form social activities. Red Ribbon Club of the College also organized painting and slogan writing competitions to commemorate the World's AIDS Day-2018 in which number of students presented their painting and slogans on the theme "Kill AIDS Before It Kills You". Prof. Samosh Kumar, Prof. Bhawandeep Kaur & Prof. Swarn Singh acted as member jury to evaluate the paintings and slogans of the participants. |
