12/13/2018 11:43:18 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Dec 13: Senior Congress Leader, Former Minister, District President Kathua, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma said the ensuing state of instability and chaos in J&K was a matter of serious concern, which if not taken seriously could prove disastrous.
Addressing prominent persons of Village, Lakhri, Mandli and Ramkote and also paricipate in Dangal at Matterar in Najot village of Billawar constituency, Sharma said that governance instability, policy inconsistency and the deteriorating law and order situation in the state were reminders of "how the slogan of 'change" raised by the ousted ruling alliance had proven to be a hoax.
Dr Manohar lal Sharma said the self-centric attitude of the two parties made general public to suffer for three years for basic necessities like power, water and ration as their singular agenda was to remaining in power. He said the non-operational and morally wrong alliance has left a lesson for the people to take their decisions with caution and wisdom for which the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh are known.
He said that PDP-BJP Government remained fully unaware of hardships of weaker sections of the society and did not make any efforts to mitigate the same on priority basis. He appeal party workers and general public to expose BJP and Modi Govt.
He alleged that since the change of guard happened in New Delhi, the prices of essential commodities have increased manifold.
"The prices of pulses have increased and it has become difficult for not only the poor but also the middle class to afford pulses. The ever increasing inflation is taking a toll on the common masses of this country.
He came down heavily on BJP and his finance minister Arun Jaitly, he said first Finance minister claimed that he never met Vijay Mallya, but Mallya met him in the corridor and informed that he was going to London. Why didn't FM then inform CBI or ED. He said, this is a clear-cut case of collusion. There is some deal between them. Arun Jaitley must resign and this should be investigated.
He asked them to work unitedly and maintain discipline. He asked the workers to gear up for the upcoming elections to ULB & Panchayats as well future challenges.
