Jammu, Dec 13: Another enquiry initiated by the University of Jammu goes in vain as no report came out after the stipulated time and no action was taken against Professor Tajudeen who described Shaheed Bhagat Singh as a terrorist.
On November 30 this year, a video went viral on social media in which Professor Tajudeen could seen describing Shahedd Bhagat Singh as terrorist, that too while teaching students in class room. However, acting swiftly into the matter to avoid any controversy the Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, Professor M K Dhar ordered an enquiry, he was also barred from taking any class till the enquiry report come.
"During a lecture in the class room, Professor Tajudeen of the Department of Political Science termed Bhagat Singh as a terrorist of Indian freedom struggle era, "Terrorism Yahan Bhi Hua, Aazadi Ke Daur Mai. Bhagat Singh, Hum Unko Hero Bnate Hain.
They were also terrorists," he is heard saying in a video clip, which was captured by a student during the lecture in class room", sources said and added that despite lapse of time given to enquiry committee, no further action has been taken, it seems that efforts are being made to protect him.
It is pertinent to mention here that an inquiry committee, headed by Dean Academic Affairs Prof Keshav Sharma constituted by the University administration to look into the matter. |
