| JSS organizes Annual Sports meet | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 17: Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu today organized annual sports meet in which several competitions were organized. Rahul Malik (IPS) SSP Security, J&K was chief guest on the occasion, while Rayees Mohammad Bhat (IPS) SSP Udhampur was Guest of honour a well acclaimed persona, Shailender Mishra (IPS) was Special Guest.
Shweta Thakur (International Judo Player) and Pankaj Malhotra(Played International Test Match in Indian team &won Gold medal) were also present on the event as special invitees. The event began with the welcome address bequeathed by head girl of the school Rohini Sharma followed by balloon releasing ceremony to mark the commencement of the event. As a tradition of the school and a mark of green drive saplings were presented to the dignitaries.
Meritorious students in various fields of Sports & Games were felicitated with Trophies & medals by the Chief Guest ,Guest of Honour & Special invitees.
The day was concluded with the vote of thanks conveyed by Varuna Mangotra (Primary Wing Coordinator). Annotating on the occasion Principal cum Vice Chairperson of the school Rohini Aima said that apart from promoting strong academic achievement, Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu nurtures the talents and skills among children which encourages the wholesome participation in the extensive range of extracurricular activities to ensure the well being of our children. |
