J&K Bank honours its Top Achievers

Jammu, Dec 17: Chairman and CEO J&K Bank Parvez Ahmed felicitated top achievers from various Business Units of the bank pertaining to Jammu, Ladakh and Rest of India in an impressive and glittering function held at Jammu on 16, Dec 2018.
Notably, J&K bank had recently launched an array of marketing campaigns through its employees to enhance sales and promote a spirit of salesmanship amongst its workforce, wherein they were provided with an opportunity to earn 'honor badges' and 'letter of appreciation' along with an invite to an "Out-House" event on achieving specific milestones in different retail loan categories, digital and third party products.
The top achievers in these campaigns were invited to the 'Felicitation Evening', which was hosted by Chairman and CEO J&K Bank, Mr. Parvez Ahmed. The different retail loan categories/digital/Insurance products under the aforementioned campaign included Employee Delight Fest - Car Loan Campaign, Housing Loan - Ghar Ghar Khushiyan Campaign, Digital Banking - The better way to bank Campaign, Eid Wheel Offer Campaign and November Delight - Life Insurance mobilization drive.
Addressing the galaxy of the achievers, the Chairman said, "I take this opportunity to congratulate you all for achieving the desired objectives during the aforementioned marketing campaigns. It delights me immensely that I have a dedicated workforce led by very capable Team Leaders across the organization, who with their sheer hard work and commitment achieved these results, thereby reaffirming my faith in their capabilities".
The chairman further remarked that "We need to inculcate a culture of appreciation, recognition and acknowledgement within J&K bank and no matter how small or significant a deed or an action might be, it needs to be appreciated in right earnest until it becomes the part of the core values of the 13,000 strong J&K bank workforce". Mr. Parvez Ahmed also urged the senior executives in the bank to act as coaches and mentors to their subordinates to help them bridge the gap in terms of performance expectations.
He further elaborated that campaigns of similar nature would continue to be organized at regular intervals in future also so that every employee of the workforce is provided with an opportunity to showcase his/her skills at these events.
Despite the challenging environment the J&K Bank has to operate in, it continues to have an uninterrupted history of growth, employment generation and perpetually strives to create value for its stake holders and society through its CSR initiatives for the socio-economic upliftment of the people of the state with the active support, commitment and loyalty of its dedicated workforce. Other dignitaries who spoke on the occasion include Executive President of the bank Mr. R.K.Chibber and President Finance, Strategy & IT Mr. Rakesh Gandotra.
