12/22/2018 10:07:33 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Dec 22: The members of Aam Aadmi Party J&K reacting sharply on NC's statement to grant autonomy to all three regions if voted to power, , said that autonomy in the present form, without commitment to decentralization of power from State to Districts to Block level to village gram Sabha , is not at all acceptable to the general public in the state because it is the NC which ruled the State far more than 35 years during which several accords of destruction of democratic institutions, the democratic edifices and the democratic conventions took place. It was in the year 1975 when Sheikh Mohd Abdullah was sworn in as Chief Minister when NC has not even a single Legislator in the Assembly; in the year 1987,the accord between Farooq Abdullah & Rajiv Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India, resorted to unprecedented riggings in Assembly elections and which gave birth to militancy and several militant organization within and outside the state causing death & destruction for last about three decades, the release said and reminded the NC Pattern Farooq Abdullah as to under what conditions Delimitation of Assembly constituencies was caped beyond 2026 when J&K has its own constitution and Art.370 is already to safeguard the interests of its subjects? Why 73rd & 74th amendments of Indian constitution is not being implemented in the state for last so many decades ?
