DSE-J suspends two teachers involved in IGNOU's B Ed Exam scandal

KISHTWAR, Dec 22: Taking strong note of the involvement of two government teachers in IGNOU's B Ed Examination scandal, Director School Education- Jammu (DSE-J) on the basis of the news item published in today's edition of the "Early Times" ordered immediate suspension of the two teachers involved in the exam gate scandal.
As per the details available with "Early Times", the DSE-J Anuradha Gupta vide order No. 801-DSEJ of 2018 Dated 22-12-2018 vide endorsement No. 58029-33 with subject "IGNOU B.Ed examination scandal rocks Kishtwar-news appeared in local daily- suspension of Teachers thereof" ordered immediate suspension of Musarat Hussain (RRT) posted at Galhore Zone Drabshalla & Johar Ali (RRT) posted at Government Upper Primary School Tipri District Doda.
"Pending enquiry into their conduct in terms of Rule 31 of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control And Appeal) Rules, 56, the following Teachers are herby placed under suspension with immediate effect in view of the news item that appeared in the local daily regarding IGNOU B.Ed examination scandal in Kishtwar and the enquiry reports of CEO Kishtwar, vide letter No. CEO/K/2018/62354 Dated 22-12-2018 and CEO Doda Vide letter No. CEO/D/308750 Dated 22-12-2018" read the suspension order issued by Director School Education Jammu.
The order further stated that "During the period of suspension, they shall remain attached with the Chief Education Officer, Kishtwar".
