Srinagar, Dec 22: At least six personnel of the Central Reserved Paramilitary Force (CRPF) sustained injuries after suspected terrorists lobbed grenades at the security forces in South Kashmir's Anantnag. The incident was reported hours after six militants of an Al Qaeda affiliate group were killed in Awantipora region.
The grenade attack was reported at around 6:15pm.
The miscreants lobbed grenade at a patrolling party in Arwani.
The injured security personnel have been admitted at the nearest medical facility, where their condition is reported to be stable. A search operation, meanwhile, has been launched to nab the militants. |
