JKRCEA organizes seminar on "Have we failed the constitution"

Jammu, Jan 6: In its resolute of educating the masses about their rights and the constitutional guarantee accorded to them, the Jammu Kashmir Reserved Categories Empowerment Alliance (JKRCEA), a conglomerate organization of employees, socio-religious groups, retired employees, women and youths & students of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other backward classes, organized one day Seminar under the theme, "Have we failed the constitution" at Guru Ravi Dass Gurudwara, Bahu Fort, Jammu. The state level Seminar was inaugurated by B.R.Dogra (Retd. Chief Engineer), the chief guest alongwith Dr. Sanjay Bhasin, President JKRCEA, Pawan Bhagat, Chairman, Bhagat Mahasabha and Prof. G.L. Thappa, President SC/ST retired employees Forum, Prof. Kali Dass, AIBCU. Dr. Zabeer Ahmed, General Secretary, JKRCEA while welcoming the delegates at the Seminar said that Baba Saheb Dr. B. R. Ambedkar drafted the constitution of India, the supreme law of India is the document which lays down the framework demarcating fundamental political code, structure, procedures, powers, and duties of government institutions and sets out fundamental rights, directive principles, and the duties of citizens. He further informed the delegates that the state level Seminar intends to gather scholars of constitution to aware their communities about the rights and guarantees the Indian Constitution carries for these communities and the deviation if any, from the implementation of such facilities. He also enumerated the achievements of JKRCEA and the future objectives identified for the social welfare sector.
