Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 6: After taking cognizance of the report against illegal strike held by some Non Gazetted employees of Legislative Assembly, the Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir is likely to take action against these erring employees.
Early Times had already published in one of its editions that the Government had refused to register the union and despite that some employees managed to observe strike to pressurize the head of the department of LA.
"The Government has identified the employees involved in strike and has prepared a list who were leading and instigating this illegal strike. CS had ordered the investigation to ascertain the facts as to how this union was formed and held strike to disrupt the administrative affair of LA," they said further adding that Speaker LA had already de-recognized the employees union.

said that height of gross violation can be gauged from the fact that some Gazetted officers addressed these striking employees when they were on protest and supported their cause. "Not only this even former MLA Langate Er Rasheed also visited the protest site and addressed the employees and showed his sympathies with them and delivered anti government speech. He assured the employees that he would take up this issue in Srinagar and will have sit in at Lal Chowk in support of their demands," they informed. Pertinently, forming any employees union in LA in strictly banned. Earlier a former Speaker LA, Choudhary Mohammad Aslam had imposed ban on such employees union and had dismissed some employees in similar case. Now all eyes are on Chief Secretary as to what action will be taken against erring employees as all report has been submitted to him, they said.
