| JKHoDCSA, EJAC-K hold joint meeting | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 6: A joint meeting of J&K HoD Cadre Stenographers' Association (JKHoDCSA) and Employe-es Joint Action Committee-K (EJAC-K) was held here today under the chairmanship of Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, state president EJAC(K).
At the outset, Mohammad Latif Qureshi, president, JKHoDCSA, requested for affiliation of the Association with EJAC (K). The chair and the other members of EJAC(K) present in the meeting unanimously welcomed the decision of JKHoDCSA regarding the affiliation with EJAC(K). All the participants of EJAC(K) assured to facilitate their full support to the JKHoDCSA and formally accorded the "letter of affiliation" to the state president JKHoDCSA. A memorandum of demands was presented by the president of JKHoDCSA to the chair which include induction of HoD Cadre Private Secretaries into KAS in order to provide them equal opportunities of promotions in career through cadre review, creation of further posts of Senior Scale Stenographers and Private Secretaries (in the ratio of 2:1 as has been done in the case of secretariat cadre stenographers) and pooling of the posts of Junior Scale Stenographers of HoD Cadre and maintaining of common seniority like that of Senior Scale Stenographer of HoD at one place in the General Administration Department.
The demands raised were discussed threadbare in the meeting and it was resolved that the EJAC(K) will facilitate its full support to the genuine cause of the Association at all levels. |
