Jammu, Jan 12; Dr K C Sharma Surgeon Specialist Udhampur honoured with "ASI Social Service Award 2018" by Governor Banwarilal Purohit & Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami of Tamil Nadu in the presence of ASI president Dr Dilip Gode & all Executive members & participant Surgeons from all over the country in its Annual Conference of Association of Surgeons of India held at Chennai on 28th Dec. 2018. Which consists of citation, certificate & Shield memento?
The citation certificate mentioned Dr K C Sharma completed his MBBS in 1965 from GMC, Srinagar and MS (General Surgery) from MAM College, New Delhi.
He has served all along in remotest rural areas of J&K extending from Ladakh to Lakhanpur & Poonch to Doda. He is also doing many Social Services for the poor and needy people.
He has developed many new Innovations in surgery with minimum resources Jammu & Kashmir State Chapter has instituted Dr K C Sharma Oration every year to the Eminent Surgeon from India in recognition of his contribution. Dr K C Sharma has received many Awards and Honours and got International & National Awards for outstanding Innovations by Govt. of India, Ministry of Science & Technology.
He has organized many conferences at Jammu & Kashmir and visited many countries for delivering Invited Lectures. |
