Kathua, Jan 31: One day workshop cum awareness camp on 'Ease of Doing Business' was today organized by District Industries Centre, Kathua. GM DIC, Babu Ram, Project Manager, M A Choudhary, Functional Managers along with President, Industrial Association Kathua, Ajit Bawa; President, Industrial Association Hiranagar, Raj Kumar besides officials and industrialists participated in the workshop. During the interactive session new industrial policy 2018 was discussed threadbare. The industrialists were acquainted with various incentives like 30% capital investment subsidy, 3% interest subsidy, 100% insurance reimbursement, freight subsidy, employment incentive, 100% lab equipment subsidy, 60% subsidy on pollution control devices and 100% subsidy on DG sets and 50% subsidy on installation of rain water harvesting equipments. They were apprised that the new industrial policy shall be operational not only for new units but also for existing units undergoing substantial expansion. |
