| Blue eyed get choicest postings, deserving ignored | | Faulty implementation of transfer policy in Agri Deptt | | G S Asgotra

Jammu, Jan 31: In violation of transfer policy, the Agriculture Department has ordered transfer of dozen Agriculture Extension Assistants (AEAs) but ironically those having close proximity with power corridor got modification at its choicest places.
Sources informed Early Times that Director Agriculture Jammu has transferred dozen of EAAs through four different orders in rural areas but within week, their transfer orders got modified and blue eyed got re-adjusted at choicest places of posting.
As per Agriculture Order No. 14/E of 2019 dated 10-1-2019 issued by Directorate in partial modification of Agriculture order No.04/E of 2019 dated 2-1-2019 has re-adjusted /posted Ravinder Kour as Agriculture Extension Assistant in Upper Sunjwan Sub Division Dansal, District Jammu vice EAA Samit Pathania.
It is pertinent to mention here that. Ravinder Kour who was posted in Panchayat Pangiari Sub Division Akhnoor District Jammu got transferred and posted at Panchayat Marh with order Endstt. No. Agri/DAJ/Estt-1/2019/20206-10217 dated 2/01/2019 but due to close proximity with power corridor she got the order modified and adjusted in Upper Sunjwan within week.
Besides Amit Pathania who was posted at Sunjwan and had longest stay in Dansal Sub division was transferred and posted at Panchayat Zofar Sub Division Ramnagar Udhampur.
He got modification of the order and got himself posted at Selhar Sub division R S Pura with order no. 26/Eof 2019 dated 15/01/2019. He once again got modification in his order and got new place of posting at Panchayat Upper Gadigarh, Sub Division of R S Pura vice Vikas Sharma, Agriculture Extension Assistant.
His close proximity with power corridor can be gauged from this fact that he again got modification order and now got original place of posting from where he got transferred.
Sources further said that Adersh Kour who was posted at Chowadi Division Dansal got transferred and posted at Panchayat Gharat in Akhnoor but got himself re-adjusted in Panchayat Darsopur of Sub division of R S Pura. While Pankaj Dutta who was transferred from Suchetgarh to Narwal Bala of Dansal sub division, got modification and was now posted at Utterbani district Jammu.
Inder Pal Singh Tegh who was posted at Nagrota of Dansal Sub division got transferred and posed at Kashira of Udhampur district but he never joined his new place of posting and got modification of the order to Panchayat Selhar of R S Pura. However, one year back, the Agriculture department had transferred him from Nagrota to Rajouri but at that time he got modification and was re-adjusted at Panchayat Nogrota, Sub Division Dansal.
Besides Amit Gupta, who got transferred to Mantalai of Udhampur following longest stay in Narwal Bala got himself re-adjusted at original place of posting Narwal Bala for unknown reasons. |
