Jammu, Jan 31: A campaign against drug abuse has been started today at at Ward No. 2, 3 and 4 in Panchayat Jadh Bhagta of Block Bhalwal Brahmana under the leadership of lady Panch-Rajkumari wherein panchs of the wards along with locals were present. Scores of locals have taken part in the campaign and take pledge to free our youth from drug addictions.
Lady Panch-Rajkumari speaking on the occasion said that for freeing our society from this menace we need contribution of all the people. "The drug addiction is a really a big problem in our locality and even the citizens are agreeing that this addiction has made the youth incapable to do anything", said Rajkumari. She further maintained that not only this, addiction has also causing effect on the environment of panchayats and panchayats workers seek help from civil Administrators to please to eradicate this menace. During this campaign, others who were present included Sansar Chand, Puran Chand, Beli Ram, Khedu Ram, Bansa Ram, Durga Dass, and Balak Ram. |
