| Cleanliness drive organized | | |  Early Times Report
Rajouri, Mar 3: As a part of ongoing Sunday Shramdaan Series Cleanliness drive was organized at Ward No. 13, Talwal near crusher morh, Rajouri by Field Outreach Bureau, Rajouri of Regional Outreach Bureau, Ministry Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India, J&K Region. In the function Mohd. Arif, Chairman Municipal Council (M.C), Rajouri, Bharat Bhushan Vaid Vice-Chairman M.C. , Yogesh Sharma, Councillor W. No. 13 M.C. were prominent among others who were present. The main aim of organizing these Shramdaan activities is to involve common masses in the mission of Swachh Bharat by inculcating a sense of responsibility in each and every citizen towards cleanliness of surroundings. 'Shramdaan Sunday' activities (Cleanliness Drive on Sunday) was organised at W.No. 13 of Municipality Committee Rajouri,in which Councillors, opinion leaders, volunteers, locals and workers of Municipal Corporation Jammu participated to clean and motivate the people of their respective area to help keep their surroundings neat and clean. Mohd. Arif in his address urged the locals of W.No.13, to come forward to shoulder the responsibility of making Rajouri clean and green. Mohd Arif was of the view that cleanliness is very essential factor in order achieve the goals of healthy India. If the surrounding are not clean children are likely to fall sick hence effecting their studies. |
