| Court rejects bail to three in murder case | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 18: 1st Additional Sessions Judge Jammu YP Kotwal rejected the bail applications of Kuldeep Kumar S/o Bodh Raj, Vicky Kumar S/o Late kunjali, and Bittu Ram S/o Rattan Ram, all residents of Bhagwani Jindrah facing trial in murder case.
According to the police case, on 01.11.2016, deceased alongwith other members of Band Party had gone in the marriage ceremony of the son of one Bamu Ram and when they alongwith other Baraties including accused Kuldeep Kumar, Omkar Kumar, Vicky Kumar and Bittu Ram were on their way back, they had heated discussion, following which all the four accused persons came down from the roof of the said matador and with criminal intention to kill deceased and attacked him with sticks, fists and blows, resultantly deceased was seriously injured and became unconscious, they threw him on the road and fled away from the spot, deceased was taken to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
1st Additional Sessions Judge Jammu YP Kotwal after hearing APP Ajay Singh Manhas for the state observed that Charge for commission of murder has been framed against the accused-applicants and till date such charge has not been altered, nor same can be altered at this stage, so prima-facie presumption continues that accused have committed the offence of murder and hence denied them the bail. |
