Jammu, Mar 18: Akhil Bhartiya Safai Mazdoor Sangh (ABSMS) held a press conference at Town Hall Jammu Municipal Corporation under the leadership of Amar Mooman, State, General Secretary highlighting the long pending demands of Safai Karam Charis.
Amar Mooman highlighted the issues such as merger of 2 and half days salary with monthly salary and clearance of pending 2 and half days salaries, immediate enrol of pending 600 vacancies, provision for 538 Safai Karam Chari whose contract is going to be end on 31 st March 2019, pending demands of reorganization, clearance of pending arrears of Safai Karamcharis for the year 2005, 2008, 2010 onwards
Further he highlighted, information regarding welfare funds of Safai Karamchari from the year 2018-2019 and list of person whom welfare fund is given till date and total amount of fund lying under Welfare fund Account. He added that we have been looking for information since last 2 months, enquiry regarding changing of contract basis employees without any reason from time to time.
He demanded that vigilance inquiry should be done, why they fire contract employee without any notice or reason and appoint other person. We have doubt that some conspiracy is going on. Amar warned the administration to fulfil the demands of safai Karamcharis at the earliest enable the Safai Karamchari to work smoothly otherwise they will be forced to go on strike immediately. |
