Seminar on Future Scope of Science, Technology

JAMMU, Mar 30: A seminar was organized in Govt. MAM College Jammu on the Topic "Future Scope of Science and Technology" on 30-3-2019, in which 70 students and four resource persons participated.
The Seminar started with a keynote address by the worthy principal of the college Prof. Dr. Pawan K Sharma in which he emphasized the need of such activities to be conducted, to keep the students abreast with the latest in Science and Technology and appreciated the efforts of the organizers and the faculty as resource persons.
Prof.Dr. Namrata Gupta spoke on the topic " Participation in summer schools and allied institutions of National repute." She encouraged the students to participate in various seminar\ summer schools organized by institutions of national repute like IIT, ISRO, IISc. And others. Prof.Dr. Sangeeta Sudan deliberated on the interdisciplinary approach and various avenues available to the students while working on the interfaces.
Prof.Dr. Rakesh Kumar Koul Convener IQAC, apprised the students regarding the latest on Defense Technologies (bio metal interface), Nanotechnology, Embedded systems, Space Technology and also motivated and inspired the students to contribute towards the institutional development by way of their involvement in framing Career Counselling Cells in the college. Prof. Dr. Jasvinder Singh spoke at length regarding EPR systems and its use by bankers and other allied institutions. He emphasized the need of awareness regarding various Apps. in the cell phone and how to handle them safely. The technical sessions were followed by interaction with the students. Vote of thanks was presented by Prof.Dr. Sangeeta Sudan.
