GDC Billawar organizes Career Interactive Session

JAMMU, Mar 30: Career Counseling Cell of Govt. Degree College Billawar (J&K) organized an interactive session on "Education awareness program for PG Courses".
Prof. Jugal Kishore Sharma, Principal of the College presided over the function and Abid Majid, Dean Alpine Group of Institutes Dehradun was the Chief speaker on the occasion.
Earlier, Dr. Mukesh kumar, Convener career counseling cell welcomed the guests and highlighted the aims and objectives of the program. Abid Majid in his lecture explained the student's about the PG courses taught in the Alpine Institute Dehradun.
He also briefed the students about the eligibility, duration, fee structure for the different courses and other facilities available at their Institutes. He also offered one free admission to the poor student of the college endorsed by the Principal of the college.
Prof. Jugal Kishore Sharma, in his speech emphasized upon the students to take advantages of such Interactive programmes and stressed upon the students not to take it lightly while choosing the PG courses. He advice them to go for that courses only in which they have keen interest as it will decides the fate of their whole life.
Principal of college also appreciated the efforts of the career counseling cell and advised them to conduct more such events for the awareness and career advancements of the students. A large number of students attended the program.
The faculty members who were present in the program were Prof. Sanjeev Gupta, Dr. Pankaj Mansotra, Prof. Rakesh Kumar, Dr. Sanjay Singh. At the end, Prof. Asha Kumari presented vote of thanks to the guests.
