Jammu, Apr 16: Adbi Kunj organized literary tributes meet on the 6th death anniversary of renowned writer Zeenat Firdous, here today. Members of the Karam Ulla Trust were specially participated in the meet. The meet was presided over by Adv. Subil Mirza Chairman Karam Ulla Trust and son of Late Zeenat Ferdous. President of the organization Sham Talib while paying tributes to late Zeenat Fardous threw detailed light on the various aspects of her life and contribution towards Urdu and Pahari prose and poetry literature. Aarash Dalmotra Chairman of the Adbi Kunj also highlighted her services for the upliftment of the organization. In the prose session, Sham Talib read out a special write up "Zeenat Fardous- Ek- Pur Kholas- Shasiyat". A composite poetic session was also held in which poets recited their Kalam in different languages. The poets who participated in the meet include Arash Dalmotra, Manjit Kamra, Ved Uppal, Kalu Ram Salgotra, Jaitender Bassan, Sanjeev Kumar, Babli Sharma, Saparas Sharma, Rajeev Kumar, Tilak Raj, Bishan Khak, Raj Kamal, Santosh Nadan and Sham Talib. The meet come to end with the vote of thanks by Aarash Dalmotra Chairman. |
