Kathua, May 14: The Department of Youth Services and Sports District Kathua, under directions Director General Youth Services and Sports Jammu and Kashmir Dr. Salim-Ul-Rehman, started its Inter Zone District Level tournaments for under 14 and under 17 years boys and girls in the disciplines of Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Wrestling, Cricket, Table Tennis, badminton etc. at various venues in Kathua. The tournament is being organised under the overall supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kathua Shobha Billoria. The tournament was inaugurated by Additional District Development Commissioner Kathua Shubra Sharma KAS in the presence of DYSSO Kathua, ZPEOs of the District and many Physical Education Masters and Teachers at Sports Stadium Kathua. ADDC Sharma interacted with players and assured them for all kinds of help for their well being and bright future. Today, the competitions of said events were organised for under 14 years boys in which 430 players of all 12 Zones of district participated. |
