Hindi poetry book by Romi Sharma released

Jammu, June 2: A literary function was organized by Hindi Sahitya Mandal, Jammu on Saturday at K L Saigal Hall, Cultural Academy Complex, Jammu to release the collection of Hindi poetry of Romi Sharma, a well known theatre, TV and film actress & journalist of J&K State. The book is titled 'Vajah Ho Tum'. Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages was the chief guest whereas Dr. Nirmal Vinod, a well known writer, poet & broadcaster was the special guest on this occasion. Prof. Lalit Mangotra, President, Dogri Sanstha presided over the programme.
A paper written by Dr. Bhagwati was read out by Mehnaz, reflecting the theme, emotive and expressive elements in the poetry of Romi Sharma. The paper also threw light on various technical aspects of the Hindi poetry included in the book. Prof. Lalit Mangotra in his presidential address said that the poetry in the book is based on the theme of love and in all the poems a positive approach can be seen. He said that when a poetry book is published the world takes one step forward in respect of promoting humanity in the society. Dr. arvinder Singh Amn in his address said that the expressions given by Romi Sharma showed that she has written the poems from her heart and the same expressions could be seen pouring out when she read out some pieces of her poetry. Dr. Nirmal Vinod also expressed his views on the poetry included in the book. Romi Sharma was felicitated by Harshdeep Fims for her achievements in the field of theatre, television and films. Prabhinder Lall, a senior artist from Chandigarh who was present in the programme was also honoured by Harshdeep Films through the dignitaries. A documentary on the performances of Romi Sharma was also screened in the hall.Foreword of this book is written by famous Film director nd well known writer Sh Ved Rahi ji.
