Shah Faesel gives sound advice to his politicians from J&K
6/3/2019 12:14:43 AM
Shah Faesal chief of people's, Movement, has suggested to all party leaders from Jammu and Kashmir, to meet Prime minister, Modi in connection with the central Governments plan to 're evoke Article 370 and Article 35 - A. Shah Faesal who quit the coveted I AS to join politics was hooked initially by the National Conference but instead floated his own party to meet muscles in the ensuing Assembly elections. That is what he wants to guide political leaders from Jammu and Kashmir,as a senior leader. Shah has earned number one position in the I AS examination and his brilliance may help the political leaders from Kashmir to seek retention of special status.
Is Modi ready to listen to political leaders from Jammu and Kashmir? Yes he may consider the demand initially but he will be finally guided by the BJP poll manifesto in which the BJP is committed to end Article 370 and Article 35A.Shah is right Modi may not annoy political leaders from Kashmir because if the region of Jammu is concerned most of the political leaders are for revocation of special status and state subject laws. This way Modi has to keep in mind the demands of BJP from Jammu and Ladakh because the BJP had won all the three seats. There is no harm in meeting Modi in New Delhi and vent their feelings. Already the NC president Dr Farooq Abdullah and PDP chief Mehbooba have threatened that in case the Centre has any plan to do away with these Articles the accession of the state to India could lose meaning. Bother Farooq and Mehbooba have issued threats to New Delhi. And in this context Modi could grant some concessions. BJP and the NDA support Modi. But Modi knows that he carries the charisma and magic and he may try to use it in the Kashmir valley during the ensuing Assembly poll.If Modi assures leaders from Kashmir that the Centre has no plan to fiddle with Article 370 and Article 35A it is believed that BJP may win a couple of seats in Kashmir that is the beginning of rebirth of BJP in Kashmir. And neither Farooq nor Mehbooba will have any slogan against BJP and the separatists may have lost the battle.
