| Woman drowns into nallah, dies | | | DODA, June 6: A 24 years old woman from Alni Lajoo village, tehsil Gandoh got drowned in Kalguni Nallah near Gangal area of Gandoh Sub-Division on Thursday morning. Locals and police rushed to the spot and fished out the body and shifted it to Gandoh Hospital for postmortem. After legal formalities the dead body was handed over to her legal heirs. The deceased was identified as Naseema Begum, wife of Irshad Ahmed.
Meanwhile, another unidentified male body of a middle- aged was found from Chenab river in Doda district on Thursday.
Police official said "The body was found floating in the river near Malwas area at around 12 pm by some locals. They informed the police. After getting information a team of cops reached the spot and fished out the body.
The body was later shifted to District Hospital Doda for identification and other medico-legal formalities. Later, the body was identified as Vinay Sharma, son of Subash Sharma of Jangalwar.
