Batra Group launches Indo-Japan Intership program

JAMMU, June 7: In the month of March 2019 IB skills and Batra Group launched the Indo-Japan Intership program. The program was launched by Maninder Singh Nayar at ASCOMS, Jammu. This inaugural session was attended by more than 600 aspirants across J&K from various fields.
The Indo-Japan Internship program on October 17, 2017 the MOC was signed between the JITCO (Japanese International Training Cooperation Organisation) and MSDE (Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreurship) at Tokyo, Japan. The vision was to have quality exchange of employment which strengthens the ties between India and Japan. The mission of this program was to support the economically weaker sections of the society by furthering their skills and empowering them socially so as they participate in shaping the global economy.
IB skills was appointed as a sending organisation for Indo-Japan Technical Intern Training Program on 28th March 2018 by the National Skill Development Council.
After interviews the first batch of 20 students was formed who are undergoing training of Japanese Culture and Japanese Language at ASCOMS centre of excellence by a highly skilled faculty from Delhi. To check their progress and readiness to work in Japan, Yamazaki Takao from FA Group and TomassadamoriKakuda from Blue works visited Jammu today. Speaking on the occasion Takao said "We are happy to be here in Jammu, the first batch of candidates is coming along well and hopefully we would be able to start recruiting interns to work in Japan soon.
Kakuda added that this is their first visit to J&K, looking at the quality of the students hopefully we would be visiting more in the future to recruit more interns from J&K.
Manik Batra said "We are happy to welcome Takao &Kakuda to Jammu and ASCOMS. This is probably the first time that any Japanese companies have come to J&K to recruit interns. We have team of highly skilled Japanese trainers from Delhi and our vision is to create more opportunities for the people of J&K to work in Japan. This probably is the first of many more visits to come in the future.
